I enjoy my work, and I always relish an opportunity to talk about it to anyone who will listen! I am used to talking to groups of readers of any size — at a recent Edinburgh Literature Festival I entertained 500 enthusiastic children in the biggest tent at the venue. I have also addressed much smaller groups, of course, in bookshops and classrooms, and I recently lectured to adults about smuggling.
Generally I charge the rates recommended by the Society of Authors for lectures, workshops and events.
